Like many of our community, we were very surprised to see the signs announcing the closing of 187th street railroad tracks

We have been in contact with METRA over the past few days regarding the planned closure and the impact it would create to our emergency response system.

We are happy to report that we were informed this morning that the track closure will be delayed until September. Hopefully the Wolf Road bridge repair will be completed by then.

We want to thank METRA for working with their stakeholders to minimize the impact the closure would be on the community!
