Mokena Fire Station #2, located at 10000 West 191st Street, serves the central area of our fire district.  This station is staffed with a minimum of one Lieutenant/Paramedic, one Engineer/Paramedic, and one Firefighter/Paramedic 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  

Apparatus housed at station #2 include:

One Advanced Life Support 100' Aerial Ladder

One Advanced Life Support Ambulance

One Advanced Life Support equipped Fire Engine (Reserve)

Two utility vehicles

Construction of station #2 began in the fall of 1995, and was competed an occupied in July of 1996.
