| Today was no different, albeit one of their responses was a bit unusual, even for Red Shift Station #2.
Truck 92 responded to assist a citizen who had recently adopted a... parrot. Ozzy, the parrot, decided to explore the neighborhood. He enjoyed his time outside so much, he stubbornly refused to come down from a tree. Happily perched in the seemingly cozy tree, Ozzy surveyed his new domain.
Ozzy's new mom contact us and asked for assistance.
Lt. Newton, who is no stranger to bird rescues, as he's responded to more than a few in his career (though might be strange in itself) persuaded Ozzy to depart the tree. Ozzy launched from the tree, "buzzed the tower" and did a perfect landing on terra firma. |
